Mix It Up
A variety of flavours and textures is the key to making your cheese board sing. With that in mind, choose cheeses made from different types of milk, such as cow, goat and sheep’s milk. Also opt for an array of textures, such as a soft cheese like Brie or Camembert; a firm Gouda or cheddar; a hard cheese such as Manchego or Parmigiano-Reggiano; and a blue cheese such as Gorgonzola.
Add simple accompaniments such as sliced French baguette, breadsticks or light crackers to let the flavours of the cheese shine. Round out your board with fresh or dried fruits such as grapes or figs, savoury olives or spreads such as tart chutney to enrich the taste experience.
